Did you know that pesticides are organized into 4 different classes?

These are: extremely hazardous, highly hazardous, moderately hazardous, and slightly hazardous.  Many pesticides can also be grouped into chemical families. Prominent insecticide families include organochlorines, organophosphates, and carbamates.  Prominent families of herbicides include pheoxy and benzoic acid herbicides, triazines, ureas, and chloroacetanilides.
