Brothers Ed and David Davidian are the 3rd generation to farm their family’s diversified fruit and vegetable operation in Northborough, Massachusetts. A fourth generation is already helping out, too. Their 250 acres on Ball Hill includes orchards, fields, greenhouses and has been in the family since 1920. Their popular farmstand is a busy stop year-round for fresh local produce and regional products, and a favorite stop at mealtimes for sandwiches, salads and baked goods.
Davidian Brothers’ main crop is tomatoes: the familiar, red slicing version, abundant and tasty in late July and August. They also raise rhubarb, peppers, summer squash and zucchini, as well as apples, peaches, and pumpkins in the fall. They have been a part of the Red Tomato grower network at various times since our early days. They have deep roots in their farm and community and we’re proud to help bring their produce to market.
