“My father farmed and his father before that. Now my son is with us, so that makes four generations on the farm,” says Mike DiBella proudly. Located in Swedesboro, NJ, this family farm covers 160 acres of asparagus, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, eggplants and zucchini. Shoppers at their farm stand rave: “best tomatoes in the tri-state area! If you want your produce farm-fresh, this is the place to go!”
The younger generation on the farm brought a certain entrepreneurial spirit to the business; Will and Julie DiBella introduced grape production in 2002 and a winery that launched in 2008.
DiBella Brothers has been an anchor grower for Red Tomato’s groundbreaking Local, Fresh 24/7 program with Kings Supermarket, bringing the freshest produce possible to the supermarket shelves within 24 hours of harvest.
