Sue’s Roasted Asparagus with Garlic Scapes

Rinse asparagus. Drizzle them with olive oil. Slice 3-4 garlic scapes over them and added some salt and pepper.

Roast in a 350 degree oven until done–about 10-12 minutes, turn them once or twice.

The garlic scape bits should be crisp and crunchy, a perfect complement to the tender asparagus.

Sue suggests eating these delights with a lovely (local) pork chop and brown (probably not local) rice. With this luscious combination, Sue claims you can almost taste the spring rain and sunshine.
